The month of Ramadan is the blessed period of purification. Every Muslim is focused on strengthening his ‘’iman’’. If we spend this time in the best way possible then we will be in a better position to get rid of our spiritual debts.
Memorize, recite, practice and contemplate the Quran
This is the month of the Quran and hence you should be focused on knowing and memorizing every content in it. It is a way of following in the footsteps of our role model the messenger of Allah-Ibn’Abbaas. Every individual should recite the Quran as much of it as he can. There is no prescribed limit.
Prayers and supplications
The month of Ramadan is the month of reconnecting with Allah. The month of seeking blessings and establishing a new relationship with the Almighty. One of the ways to make yourself heard is through prayers. You can pray for everything you need. The supplication of the Holy Prophet is a clear guide to what you may need in this life and thereafter.
Doing charitable work
This month is a month of helping the needy in our society. We are required to share what we have from food to clothing with those who don’t have. The holy prophet (PBUH) used to find every opportunity to help the needy in the society.
You are required to pray the obligatory salah on time with Kushu. You should try your best to get rid of all the waswasa that come into your mind and pray Dua to Allah. You are standing before your Lord Almighty and therefore you should avoid all the destructions.
Offer the Salah of Tahajjud prayer
You should wake up early enough and offer the prayer. Although there is no prescribed number of Tahajuud prayer, it is better to pray 8 Rak’at.
